These resources have helped me when creating lesson and unit plans. To the left are three books that I have used extensively throughout my graduate studies. Below, are the National Core Art Standards that I have implemented throughout my teaching.
1b: Demonstrating Knowledge of Students
To the left, is Part A of the Planning Commentary for the edTPA, Context for Learning. In this document, I described the school I was in for my full-time student internship, as well as the demographics of students I was teaching. The information of students includes the accommodations/modifications that were included in students' IEP and 504 Plans.
1c: Setting Instructional Outcomes & 1e: Designing Coherent Instruction
The document to the left is Part B of the Planning Commentary for the edTPA, Lesson Plans for Learning Segment. These lessons were created for students to create a group choreographic project utilizing the Elements of Dance.

Displayed to the left in the gallery are Choreographic Task Cards I created for my edTPA. These materials correspond to the learning segment that was posted as an artifact for the categories 1c: Setting Instructional Outcomes & 1e: Designing Coherent Instruction. Each group chose one task card at random each day of the learning segment. Based off the card chosen, each group would implement that choreographic task into their phrase.
The document to the left is the Summative Assessment administered during my edTPA. This material corresponds to the learning segment that was posted as an artifact for the categories 1c: Setting Instructional Outcomes & 1e: Designing Coherent Instruction, as well as the instructional materials directly above this one. This rubric was used to grade students' group choreography.
